King and the club were scheduled to have an arbitration hearing on Friday in Toronto. The 25-year-old from Meadowlake, Saskatchewan scored 15 goals and 15 assists in 77 regular season games last season. He added three goals and eight assists in 26 playoff games during L.A.s run to the Stanley Cup championship. Over four NHL seasons with Los Angeles, King has 24 goals and 30 assists in 157 games.
